Shipping policy

Designers Pivot LLC manages the collection from the seller and the delivery from its premises post inspection to the final customer.

All items are shipped via our trusted partner DHL.

Seller:

Once the item is sold, Designers Pivot arranges pick up and delivery of the item to its premises for inspection free of charge. The item has to be sent out within 48h and in condition as described. Seller has to notify Designers Pivot within 24h after receiving notification of the item being sold if the item is still available for a sale.

Please note: clothing items have to arrive without any stains, dry cleaned by the Seller.

If the item turns out to be not authentic or in condition not as described, it’s Seller responsibility to cover shipping charges from Designers Pivot plus seller has to cover previously occurred pick up charges, authentication fee and any custom clearance charges if applicable.


Buyer: 

Delivery fees - from Designers Pivot to the Buyer - 30 AED for Dubai area, 50 AED for UAE and 200 AED for the rest of the world. Delivery fee is added to the final price based on updated shipping rates. All taxes and custom charges should be borne by the Buyer. 

If the buyer wishes to return or exchange the item, respective charges should be borne by the buyer. Please ensure to request detailed photos/ videos of the item to make sure the item is in desirable condition.

After placing the order, our manager will write to you to coordinate the delivery and clarify the details.

 

Delivery Timeline 1-2 days upon reception from the seller. Designers Pivot coordinates the collection from the seller to ensure total shipment lead time of 4 to 7 days.


Custom Duties / Taxes:

Our items are shipped from Dubai, UAE. Almost all countries apply custom duties on import of items. The customers will be required to pay the customs duty upon delivery of the product.

  1. If an order is returned to us because a customer refuses to pay custom duties on delivery of the product. We will deduct the shipping charges and custom duties incurred as a result of the return from the final refund.
  2. Invoice Declaration( for International Deliveries): We are required to declare the full amount of the invoice on all shipments due to strict customs regulations and shipment insurance policies. We mark all our shipments as “used items” to potentially reduce the customs charges, but we cannot mark them as “gifts.”
  3. Designers Pivot is not liable for any delays in deliveries due to custom clearances at destination. 
  4. Orders: Placing an order with Designers Pivot does not guarantee the item will be delivered - reasons could be due to errors with the systems. If items are ordered but are unavailable, a full refund will be issued to the customer.
  5. Designers Pivot reserves the right to cancel any orders we deem as incorrect, faulty or suspicious.
